Affiliate Disclosure

In plain English, because that's the whole point of this site.

The relationship

Paddle Truth participates in affiliate programs, including Selkirk Sport's program (operated through the AvantLink network). When an article or page here links to a merchant and you make a purchase after clicking, the merchant may pay us a commission.

What that means for you

Your price never changes. The commission comes out of the merchant's side, not yours.

Every page that contains affiliate links tells you so in a labeled box at the top of the page — before the content, not buried at the bottom.

What it doesn't change

Product facts on this site (prices, specs, return policies, warranties) are verified on the merchant's own website before we publish them, and we tell you when we verified them. Claims that come from a manufacturer are attributed to that manufacturer. We don't publish invented testimonials, unverifiable statistics, or performance guarantees.

Any free tools or guides we offer (our calculators, checklists, and drill guides) are published by Paddle Truth, not by the merchants we link to. They're educational and measurement aids — results vary, and nothing on this site promises a performance outcome.

Sponsored content

Articles written around an affiliate offer are labeled Sponsored Content at the top. This disclosure, and those labels, are provided in line with the FTC's endorsement guides.
